JOINT FLEX is a two component, 100% solids, VOC Compliant, self leveling flexible control and expansion joint filler. This product cures rapidly and consistently at temperatures ranging from -20°-120°F. With a tack-free time of under 5 minutes, JOINT FLEX reduces downtime and allows repaired areas to be reopened to vehicle or foot traffic in one hour. Excellent elastomeric properties create flexibility while a tenacious bond to the concrete sidewalls of the joints leads to long lasting results and performance.

DESCRIPTION

JOINT FLEX is a two component, 100% solids, VOC Compliant, self leveling flexible control and expansion joint filler. APPLICATION

SURFACE PREPARATION – CONCRETE

Concrete surface must be clean, sound, and dry prior to application of JOINT FLEX. Any oils or fats must be removed prior to product application. Use a masonry saw blade to prepare the side walls of the joint and vacuum thoroughly to remove any latent dust and debris. Install foam backer rod as required. Do not apply to wet substrates. Always precondition the material to the ambient temperature prior to use. For bulk mixing, always agitate the B side of the material before combining it with part A.

DO NOT ALLOW MATERIAL TO RESIDE IN THE STATIC MIXER FOR LONGER THAN 45 SECONDS OR BLOCKAGE CAN OCCUR.

CLEAN UP

Cured product may be disposed of without restrictions. Uncured material should be mixed and allowed to cure, then disposed of properly. Use Xylene to clean tools and incidental contact with skin before material cures. Always use proper P.P.E.

WARNING

WARNING: Keep away from sparks, heat, and open flame. Use with adequate ventilation. Prolonged or repeated breathing vapor or spray mist can cause headache, nausea, dizziness or confusion. This product can be harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through the skin.

HAZARDS: Avoid breathing vapor, spray mist or contact with the skin. Use only with adequate ventilation during mixing, application and drying. Use face protection, gloves and full protective clothing to prevent contact. Wear appropriate self-contained respiratory equipment when handling. Use only with recommended thinners and cleaners. Keep away from heat, sparks, arc, and open flame.

FIRST AID: In case of contact with skin, flush with water and get immediately medical attention. For eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get immediately medical attention. In case of exposure of high concentrations of fumes, remove to fresh air and get immediately medical attention. If swallowed, get immediately medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. See product material safety data sheet for further details on contents and procedures to follow.

PRECAUTIONS: Improper use and handling of this product can be hazardous to health or cause a fire. Consult all Federal Regulations concerning occupational safety and health standards and any other applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations on safety practices in coatings operations. Necessary safety equipment must be used, and proper ventilation requirements carefully observed, especially in confined or enclosed spaces to prevent build-up of vapors.

SPILLAGE: Extinguish all sources of ignition. Use absorbent cleanup materials. Prevent from entering sewers or waterways.

FIRE: Blanket flames with dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or foam. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

STORAGE & DISPOSABLE: Store in cool, well, ventilated area. Keep containers closed and upright when not in use to prevent leakage. Dispose of in separate closed metal container in accordance with all applicable regulations.

CLEAN UP: Clean up the equipment with xylene, alcohol or other environmentally safe solvent. Dispose of waste solvent according to local environmental regulations. CAUTION: These solvents may be flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition. Clean skin with soap and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners which may cause irritation.

LIMITATION OF REMEDIES: Whether for breach of contract or warranty, negligence of Trends Design USA, Inc (POLICRETE), strict liability or otherwise Trends Design USA, Inc shall not be liable for anu incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever. The sole remedy available from Trends Design USA, Inc. is the refund of the contract price for the goods for which liability is claimed.

SEVERABILITY: If the above exclusion of warranties provision, or any part thereof, should be held invalid or unenforceable, the limitation of remedies provision shall apply in full force and effect. If anu provision of the limitation of remedies clause should be held or unenforceable, all other provisions in that clause shall nevertheless continue in full force and effect.
